McCarthy Joins Hines' Capital Markets Group

(SAN FRANCISCO, CA) – Hines, the international real estate firm, announced today that Mary McCarthy has joined the firm as Vice President in the Capital Markets Group, and she is located in the firm’s San Francisco West Regional Office.
McCarthy will work on the firm’s capital raising activities for private real estate investment vehicles sponsored by Hines.
Prior to joining Hines, McCarthy was a founding partner of Koza Partners LLC, a west coast-based capital intermediary. She has held positions with CB Richard Ellis Investors, Security Capital Markets Group, Clarion Partners, Copley Real Estate Advisors and Morgan Stanley.
McCarthy holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania; a Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania; and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from the University of Virginia.
Since the fall of 2002, the Hines Capital Markets Group has raised over $2.7 billion of private equity for investment in distinct strategies in the U.S., Europe and selected emerging markets.
